Accommodation and Location
Throughout their stay, students live with carefully selected
local families, the majority of whom have been known to and
used by the Academy for many years. Many have children of
their own, and act as host families for a variety of
organisations, so are sensitive to the concerns and needs of
their guests. All families live in or near Ealing. Usually
students are accommodated in groups of two / three or four
per household and all are relatively close to each other so
that no-one is isolated. Students are usually required to be
back home by midnight and any other rules are agreed upon
before arrival with parents, students, teachers and
families. All students are expected to sign up and abide by
a Code of Conduct agreed between the Academy and the host
family.

School Project Fees
A School Project is based on a 5-day visit which usually
includes an introductory session; three special interest
visits; a group visit and student presentation &
evaluation time. Students often arrange their own visits in
any spare time.
Pricing upon application
It is always possible to arrange a shorter or
longer visit with a different style of programme and fees
would be adjusted accordingly. Teachers do not pay a project
fee. The Academy can arrange accommodation in a hotel or in
a family as desired, and teachers will be charged for this
only. All participants must take out their own personal
insurance for loss and accident.
We require that the final number of students participating
in the School Project is received
one month before the start. If there is a cancellation
before that date, a refund for that student will be made,
less 15% to cover administrative costs. If cancellation
occurs less than one month before the start of the School
Project, the fee for the accommodation and the School
Project remain payable but a substitute person will be
accepted without notice.
